Critical Care Department

The Critical Care Department at Ramakrishna Multispeciality Hospital has _____________ ICU beds. Our team is made up of consultant intensivists, pain specialists, senior and junior doctors, as well as highly trained nursing and paramedical staff. Key Procedures and Skills

Our department handles several critical procedures, including central vein and artery cannulation, pulmonary artery catheterization, and advanced monitoring techniques like ABG (arterial blood gases). Intubations, both nasotracheal and endotracheal, are performed for adults, children, and newborns. We specialize in managing ventilators, including advanced systems like High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV).

We also provide trauma resuscitation, airway management, and ICU transportation for critically ill patients. For severe infections, we manage septic shock, multi-organ failure, and provide
antibiotic or antifungal treatments.

Comprehensive Critical Care

Our ICU team manages patients with respiratory failure, kidney failure, and complex surgical cases. We provide post-operative care and manage conditions such as electrolyte imbalances, coagulopathies, and heart-lung interactions. Renal replacement therapies, such as dialysis, are also offered for patients with kidney issues.

Bedside procedures like percutaneous tracheostomy and chest drainage are regularly performed. We also provide nutrition support through both enteral and parenteral feeding methods. For patients with pain, we offer both acute and chronic pain management using methods like epidural catheterization. Our ICU delivers high-quality care using advanced tools and techniques to manage critically ill patients effectively
